Edo Jar in Blue Stardust 6"h

95.00

A traditional form of Ben’s family and influenced from early research into pottery forms during the Edo period of Japanese culture. The stardust glaze in this piece has a variety of colors as you look around the surface. Measuring 6”h x 4.5” x 4.5”.

The matte-crystal finish represents Ben’s research and glaze accomplishment named after the amazing photographs beamed back to Earth of actual stardust from the Hubble Space Telescope.   To achieve this rare find, the kiln temperature is meticulously controlled, as is rises AND as it falls, to encourage crystal growth and render this stunning final product.
