Works by Bryan Pulliam created at Ben Owen Pottery.

Bryan Pulliam began working at Ben Owen Pottery in 2017 and is responsible for much of the processing and finishing of pottery made by Ben Owen III.  Many of Bryan's days are filled with mixing glaze recipes and applying glazes to Ben's pieces, along with loading and unloading kilns.  In his spare time, Bryan makes his own signature work to sell in our retail store.

Ben & LoriAnn first met Bryan about 12 years ago when he brought a piece of Ben's grandfather's work to be identified.  The friendship grew as Bryan began assisting Ben with woodfirings and busy kiln openings. Bryan's pottery skills have increased thanks to pottery classes at Rockingham Community College in Wentworth, NC and studying the techniques of such notable potters as Sally Hayes, Noah Carlton, and Ben Owen III.

Bryan and his wife, Laura, were married in June of 2017 and reside next door to Ben Owen Pottery in the historic Ben Owen, Sr. home.
